Our Story
Hydrel Energy was built out of firsthand experience with one of the biggest challenges facing modern infrastructure: access to power.
Before founding Hydrel, our team worked at the forefront of alternative fuels, EV charging and electrification, where demand was growing faster than the grid could support. We saw projects delayed for years, costs spiral due to demand charges, and entire deployments stalled simply because reliable power wasn’t available when and where it was needed.
It became clear that the problem wasn’t just generation, it was how energy systems were designed, modeled, and managed.
We started Hydrel to solve that problem differently.
By combining deep experience in electrification with advanced modeling, optimization, and control, we set out to build energy systems that don’t rely on guesswork or outdated assumptions. Instead, we design using data, from digital twins to real-time system control, so our customers can deploy power faster, operate more efficiently, and scale without constraint.
Today, we partner with companies building the next generation of infrastructure, including data centers, ports, and large-scale electrification projects, helping them overcome grid limitations and unlock growth.
